Does Steratrans also offer local transport services?

Yes, Steratrans operates not only throughout Germany and Europe, but also on short-distance routes. We are happy to transport your goods within Hamburg and the surrounding metropolitan area.
We also collect shipments from the port and from company locations and dispatch them from our warehouse in Hamburg to the countries we serve on a regular basis.

Do you have a fixed price list?

Each project is different. Prices depend on the scope and scale of the services required. Please contact us and the Steratrans team will provide you with a tailored quote, perfectly suited to your project.

Which European countries are served by Steratrans?

Steratrans, together with its partners, operates in 31 European countries, which are served on a regular basis. We would be happy to prepare an individual quote tailored to your requirements.

Questions about customs clearance

What needs to be considered when importing from or exporting to a non-EU country?

When goods are imported from or exported to a non-EU country, they must be declared to customs and specific customs regulations and formalities must be observed. If you have any questions regarding customs clearance, the Steratrans team will be happy to assist you.

Can Steratrans International Freight Forwarding support my company with customs clearance?

The Steratrans team is happy to assist you with advice and hands-on support in handling customs formalities, such as preparing T documents, export accompanying documents, or managing changes of custodian.

Questions about warehousing and container handling

Until what time can shipments be unloaded from a container at your facility?

Unloading from a container is possible Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Which documents does our driver need to collect a shipment from a container?

To collect a shipment from a container, the driver must present a correctly completed letter of undertaking (A18) and a delivery note / shipment release. It is also important that all customs formalities have been completed (e.g. completion of the ATB).
As a rule, Euro pallets must be exchanged.
